Catholic Lifetime Reading Plan is much smarter. It is written by a priest, John Hardon SJ. We get into trouble when we imagine that we are priests who should be providing the faithful with instruction.
ReplyDeleteI'm "trying to be a priest" because I linked to some helpful Catholic works that are available online? Give me a break. What, lay people aren't supposed to be involved in evangelization and catechesis? Please show me where that is put forth in ANY of the documents of the Church!
ReplyDeleteWith our Confirmation, we receive the mandate to spread and defend the Catholic faith. Well done Nicholas. Keep up the great work. In fact can I list your site on my apologetics site? (www.catholic.org.sg/act)Act=Apostolate for Catholic Truth.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless
Andrew Kong
Thanks Andrew! You can link to my site if you want.
ReplyDeleteNicholas,
ReplyDeleteI agree with Andrew! You are not acting like a wanna-bee Priest. You are helping the Church by linking to the Church Fathers and authors like Chesterton. I am a Presbyterian Reverend who stumbled upon your site because I read the Church Father's to aid me in my sermon preparation. I will continue to peruse your site for its Aquinas and Augustine treasures! God Bless you as we rejoice in ONE body and ONE Spirit. In Christ, ~Blake.W
Thanks Blake!
